The Polycom Soundstation 2 Conference Phone provides a high quality loudspeaker telephone for meeting rooms and is ideal for 6-8 users. For larger meeting rooms and more people then you should consider the Polycom Soundstation 2EX Expandable, which can use external microphones to provide better microphone pick up for users situated further away from the main conference phone unit.
The Polycom Soundstation 2 phone is for use by multiple users in the room the unit is located in, it does not provide a conference bridge, therefore if multiple external parties need to be included in the conference then you will need to subscribe to BT Three Way Calling, or refer to your telephone system manual for details on setting up a conference call and information on the maximum number of external parties allowed by your particular phone system.
