The OptiPoint 420 Standard is a modular, multi-line IP speakerphone that provides high fidelity voice quality via the integrated G.722 wideband codec. Comes with a back-lit alphanumeric 2x24 display and with OptiGuide for softkey-like functionality. The device supports full-duplex speakerphone functionality and an integrated mini-switch and an integrated headset port. It also supports CorNet-IP and includes both 10/100Base-T with 802.1p and 802.1Q (VLAN) support, enables CTI (TAPI) over IP and includes 12 function keys with LEDs.

The Optipoint 420 range of IP phones uses Power over LAN in accordance with IEEE 802.3af and as such is not provided with a mains power supply. An optional Mains power supply is available and is listed as an Add On Option for this phone.
